Rome is dusty...
Apparently it comes from the Sahara Desert. Who knew?
To escape the citylife, Lola and I are going to Naples, Capri, and Anacapri on Tuesday. Should be fun. It’s our first official tourgroup thing so we’re definitely gonna be learning something.
Update on Rome:
We haven’t been doing much considering it’s HOT as crap here. Here’s a list of places we’ve been to:
- Vatican City - St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum
- Fountain of Trevi
- Spanish Steps
- The stores that reminded me of Felice near the Spanish Steps
- Some churches where I was informed I can’t wear shorts
- Colosseum
- Palatino - where we saw the ruins but decided to not go because it was a long ass walk
We plan on going to these places soon:
- Piazza Navona
- Vittorio Emmanuele II
- Pantheon
- Piazza Venezia
- Some Botanical Garden for Lola [which is SO far and has no metro passing by it -_-
- The other three main Basilicas: St. Paul outside the wall, Santa Maria Maggiore, and St. John
I guess it’s a good thing we’re still here for 12 days…
